It’s a breeze – sixth residential service provider joins GTC’s FTTH open-access network

GTC is delighted to announce that from today customers on its ultrafast Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network will have even more choice as Breeztel, its sixth residential Internet Service Provider (ISP), goes live. GTC only ever builds open-access networks, working with numerous ISPs to offer its customers a wide range of packages covering telephone, broadband and TV, enabling them to choose the speed and service combination that suits their needs and their budget.

Breeztel will offer homeowners a range of broadband packages from 30Mbps download speeds, suitable for fast browsing, online shopping, and up to 300+Mbps packages with the capacity to accommodate multiple simultaneous gaming sessions and website uploads. Breeztel Fibre Broadband customers who opt for Breeztel telephone services can also enjoy free local and national calls and lower call rates for international calls.

GTC’s FTTH network uses 100% fibre all the way into the home at an ultrafast 360Mbps (one of the UK’s fastest) and is future-ready for 1Gbps. Network speeds can easily be increased in the future to meet customer demand.

Dr. Jude Nzeako at Breeztel, commented: “Breeztel is a one-stop shop for all communication services for homes and businesses. We are delighted to be part of the GTC fibre network, because the open-access infrastructure offered by GTC gives us an unrestricted opportunity and capacity to offer our customers the very best available in entertainment and fibre broadband. We aim to build long-lasting relationships with our customers by ensuring that they enjoy uninterrupted services, backed by 24-hour technical support.

Just as important, however, is the fact that our network is open to any provider that wishes to offer its services, giving our customers genuine choice, enabling them to choose the services and products that best meet their needs. With Breeztel joining our network, our customers now have six dedicated residential ISPs and a whole range of service packages to choose from.”
